AirTran is offering a 48-hour sale and time's a tickin'. Through midnight on Friday, shop through 4,000 discounted rates. Many airlines such as American, Delta, JetBlue, United, and more, have similar, and occasionally lower, prices.

With Hawaiian Airline's latest sale, select your destination from some of Hawaii's major islands, including the Big Island, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu. You can find savings of up to $30 compared to rival's rates.

JetBlue is at it again. Yesterday's one-day sale is gone, but the low-cost carrier's Web Fares are here. Not only is JetBlue on its A-game, American, Delta, US Airways, and other competitors are, too, with similar unannounced low fares.

Head to Brasilia or Rio de Janeiro this fall with American's latest sale, featuring departures from more than 130 cities. American's prices are occasionally the lowest, with Delta and US Airways also offering cheap flights.

Virgin America's latest sale features discounted flights to Las Vegas, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., among a handful of other destinations. Look to similar unannounced rates from American, Frontier, JetBlue, and United, among other carriers.
